As unstoppable as he has already been, the one thing that holds Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo back is his inconsistent shooting from downtown. The “Greek Freak” has taken significant strides in improving his accuracy from distance this season, and he showed some of the fruits of his labor on Friday night against the Los Angeles Lakers.

At the 9:11 mark of the first quarter of their match at the Fiserv Forum, Antetokounmpo was a few steps away from the logo when he caught a pass from Dante DiVincenzo. With still plenty of time in the shot clock and Giannis way outside his range, the Laker defense simply allowed him to launch a shot from the top of the key and waited for the rebound.

The reigning MVP made them pay as his shot made the perfect “swoosh” sound and hit nothing but the net, prompting NBA Hall of Famer Reggie Miller, who was calling the game, to scream “What?” in disbelief.

Antetokounmpo has certainly put a lot of work on that shot, improving his three-point percentage from 25.6 last season to a respectable 32.1 clip this year.
