Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo and Detroit Pistons forward Blake Griffin had an interesting face-to-face during the second quarter of Wednesday's contest.

Antetokounmpo picked up Griffin on the defensive end around mid-court, and while Griffin attempted to shake the tenacious defender, he appeared to graze the league's reigning MVP with something resembling an elbow. Sure enough, Antetokounmpo was none too pleased.

While there have certainly been more captivating disagreements around the league this season, two of the league's most intimidating forces exchanging words makes for intrigue.

The Bucks and Pistons are certainly familiar with one another, with both occupying the Central Division in the Eastern Conference — a league that Giannis and Milwaukee have dominated over the last year-plus.

Griffin and the Pistons need every win that they can get in order to return to the postseason, ramping up the adrenaline and intensity each time that the teams square off.
