Many feel that Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is the league MVP, and it's hard to argue against that statement. It's also hard to argue with the fact that he is one of the most vicious dunkers in the league, and Memphis Grizzlies big man Marc Gasol unfortunately ended up on the wrong side of Antetokounmpo's wrath on Wednesday night.

Sheesh. Poor Marc.

Now, to be fair to Gasol, it was kind of a wrong-place, wrong-time type of thing. He came over to provide some help defense and didn't even get the chance to jump before Giannis rose up and threw it down.

However, the dunk kind of brought back memories of Vince Carter's poster slam on Tim Duncan years back, albeit on a much, much lesser scale.

Antetokounmpo entered Wednesday evening's matchup against the Grizzlies averaging 26.4 points, 12.6 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 1.5 blocks, and 1.4 steals over 33.3 minutes per game. He's shooting 57.8 percent from the floor, 17.2 percent from three-point range and 69.6 percent from the free-throw line.

As evidenced by his stat-line, Giannis obviously has a glaring weakness in terms of his shooting, possessing no touch from beyond the arc and struggling from the charity stripe. However, he has pretty much every other aspect of the game down pat, so if Antetokounmpo can ever become even a respectable perimeter shooter, it's just over for the league.

The 24-year-old known as “The Greek Freak” is in his sixth NBA season and is aiming to make his third straight All-Star team, which pretty much seems like a given at this point.
