Milwaukee Bucks swingman Khris Middleton carried his team during Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Miami Heat, and he made the biggest shot when it mattered most.

The Bucks and Heat battled into overtime on Sunday, and Milwaukee held a one-point lead with under 10 seconds to go when Middleton pulled up for three over Tyler Herro and Jae Crowder.

Middleton's shot splashed through, giving Milwaukee a four-point lead in the closing seconds.

Still, the Heat would not go away. Herro made a huge 3-pointer of his own to cut the deficit to one.

Fortunately, Middleton made a pair of free throws to put Milwaukee back up by three, and Bucks guard Wesley Matthews intercepted the ensuing inbounds pass.

The Bucks managed to stay alive in the series despite the loss of Giannis Antetokounmpo, who left the game in the first half due to an ankle sprain.

Khris Middleton was the catalyst, playing 48 minutes and scoring 36 points — including nine in the overtime period. The Heat got a near triple-double from Bam Adebayo with 26 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists, but his efforts were evidently not enough to complete the sweep.

Milwaukee is still in the series thanks to its second All-Star, who made a plethora of big plays down the stretch.
