If you need to see just one play to give you an indication of how the Greece-Montenegro match-up went down, that particular play by Giannis probably encapsulates the game. Greece breezed through Montenegro with a convincing 85-60 victory on Sunday.

The Greeks raced to a 42-16 advantage at the half and led by as much as 30 points in the fourth quarter.

Montenegro was led by Orlando Magic All-Star center Nikola Vucevic. He scored 12 points on 6-of-14 shooting for his home country.

Next on Greece’s schedule is Brazil, whom they will face on September 3, Tuesday. Greece certainly has high hopes for this tournament with the reigning NBA MVP leading the way. Giannis, likewise, is determined to bring his beloved home country its first ever World Cup gold medal finish.
