Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston's reputation took another hit following a three-game suspension for him allegedly groping situation a female Uber driver back in March 2016.

This is the latest questionable decision that Winston has been involved with over the last few years, dimming his image in the public light. According to Greg Auman of The Tampa Bay Times, tight end Cameron Brate voiced his support for Winston as a person off the field.

“I would say 100 percent, he is,” Brate said. “There's things in his past that I can't speak of, and obviously don't know what happened really in Arizona with this Uber incident. But for me, all my experiences, all my interactions with Jameis have been awesome. I'm pretty close with him. We hang out outside of football and everything. I truly do enjoy spending time with him. He's caring, compassionate, the kind of guy you want to associate yourself with, as far as my experiences with him.

“I can't speak too much to what's going on with everything else, because that's not really the Jameis that I know. For me, I still love him. I think he's a great teammate and I think I speak for a lot of guys in the locker room with that sentiment.”

A few Buccaneers players have come out in support of Winston despite this latest situation. Winston clearly has earned the respect from his teammates who have dealt with him to a great degree over the last couple of seasons.

However, this is something that Winston can prove through his behavior moving forward off the field, as any more questionable decisions of this nature would put him in an even more tough position.

Ultimately, it is on Winston's shoulder to learn from this situation and avoid putting himself in that spot once again, as a next time could cost him his NFL career.
