Grayson Allen has turned himself into public enemy number one for Chicago Bulls fans (and Los Angeles Lakers fans, too) after his violent hit against fan favorite Alex Caruso.

Caruso himself was not pleased during the Bulls press conference right after the game. That was before he was determined to be out for 6-8 weeks after sustaining a fractured wrist from the play.

The Bulls guard's agent, Greg Lawrence, made a statement on Alex Caruso's behalf, calling out the “cheap shot” from Allen on the controversial play.

Via ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski:

“I expect the league will take into consideration not only what was a dangerous, unnecessary, and dirty play on Alex Caruso that caused this significant injury, but also the offending players' own history,” said Lawrence. “This was a cheap shot on an airborne, defenseless player that resulted in a broken bone that will need to be surgically repaired and will cause Alex to miss at least two months of the season.”

“I am hopeful the league levels a punishment that will send a clear message that there is no place in the NBA for what happened to Alex and the Bulls.”

According to the report, the NBA is still mulling over the punishment to be imposed on Grayson Allen. But whatever it ends up being, Bulls fans will certainly think it won't be enough after the dirty play to one of their most vital players.
