Philadelphia 76ers legendary point guard Allen Iverson calls former Bulls talent Michael Jordan the ‘Black Jesus' and says that the Chicago Bulls Hall of Famer is indeed better than LeBron James.

Iverson wrote a story about his perceptions on his career through The Players' Tribune, including his take on who is the ‘Greatest of All-Time.'

Man….. listen. First of all, I love LeBron. I have nothing but love for LeBron. That’s the best player of his generation, one of the best ever, a great husband, great father, great role model, and it’s even beyond that: What he’s doing with that school in Akron?? It’s a beautiful thing.

But y’all.

We’re talking about Mike.

We’re talking about Mike, O.K.??

We’re talking about Black Jesus himself.

The debate on who the greatest basketball player is has been a toss-up between Jordan and LeBron. Despite the fact that they never played against or with each other, people are still comparing the two transcendent players and it doesn't look like it will stop soon.

LeBron's multi-dimensional skill package that helps him do almost everything on the court is his greatest asset in the comparison. However, one could argue that Jordan was also a complete player, even better than LeBron in the defensive end. MJ's nonstop tenacity to win and his knack to always deliver in the clutch puts him ahead of James in those categories.

Having played with both players himself, Iverson does have a better perspective than us. But like AI, we want this comparison to stop for us to just appreciate the greatness of the players who work day and night to be the best.
