The Chicago Bulls could hire multiple people to work under vice president John Paxson and COO Michael Reinsdorf, according to Joe Cowley of the Chicago-Sun Times.

The Bulls are expected to reassign general manager Gar Forman after the season ends. They used the All-Star break to begin the legwork on the upcoming restructuring of their front office:

A source familiar with the situation told the Sun-Times on Wednesday, that there could be multiple people hired, however, as the power structure is still being determined.

Current general manager Gar Forman is expected to stay with the organization, although with a different title, but that doesn’t mean the Bulls are just searching for a GM to fill that spot. The front office is considered behind the times of where many franchises currently are, which means Reinsdorf and Paxson are set to get creative.

During the first half of the season, the Bulls went 19-36. They are in 10th place in the Eastern Conference standings. This season is the third year of the rebuild in Chicago. So far, the team doesn’t appear to have made any giant leaps from 2018-19.

Bulls fans have wanted Forman to be fired for years. It looks like they are sort of getting their wish, but they have to wait and see who the new GM is before any celebration takes place. Furthermore, the fact that Paxson will likely still be in charge is a major issue among fans. Chicago may make changes, but it looks like they may fall short of fans' hopes.
