Hoops fans in The Windy City won't have to wait much longer to see their team back in action. On Tuesday, the Chicago Bulls released their five-game preseason schedule, which kicks off on Sunday, Sept. 30 against the New Orleans Pelicans.

According to a report from K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, Chicago fans will be able to catch all of their team's preseason games live on NBCSportsChicago.com, the NBC Sports app, and WSCR AM 670. Johnson also notes that 22 and 11-game season ticket plans are available for purchase now. Single game tickets for preseason and the regular season will be available on September 14th at 11:00 a.m. CT via Bulls.com, NBATickets.com, and 1-800-4NBA-TIX.

The Bulls (27-55 and 5th in the Central Division last regular season) will play three home games and two on the road, including one inside Milwaukee's new arena. As it turns out, their first home game comes against Chicago-native Anthony Davis.

The Bulls have several talented young players, including rookies Wendell Carter Jr. and Chandler Hutchison. Zach LaVine, Kris Dunn, Lauri Markkanen and Bobby Portis will also be looking to make some noise.

It might seem a bit strange to see an NBA game scheduled in September, but the league's ultimate goal was to spread out the regular season games, as there were some who felt the change was needed. The Bulls' regular season schedule will be released at a later date, according to their official website.

With less than 70 days to go until the start of preseason, Bulls fans won't have to wait much longer to see their favorite players on the court.
