The Chicago Bulls may not have a lot to cheer about lately, but things will definitely change soon with some good news for them. It has been reported that the team will hold a press conference on Friday, to announce that they will host the 2020 NBA All-Star Game inside the United Center, according to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune.

It will only be the third time in NBA history that Chicago will host the annual event, which will not only engage their fans more but will also allow them to see the best players around the league compete in the different events to be held throughout the NBA All-Star Weekend. The city last hosted the festivities back in 1988 at Chicago Stadium.

The Bulls have not had a strong start to their season, as they only have a 2-7 record so far, good for 15th place in the Eastern Conference.

However, with the news of them hosting the NBA All-Star Game three years from now, it could lift their spirits and boost their confidence, which could lead to more inspired play in their upcoming games. The team needs all the help they can get at this point, and the recent development couldn't have come at a better time.
