On Tuesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Chicago Bulls rookie guard Coby White dropped a career-high 35 points while also adding seven rebounds and three assists. White's stellar performance got the attention of Thunder point guard Chris Paul.

Paul and White have had a relationship long before White got drafted seventh overall in the most recent NBA draft and as one of the best point guards of the past two decades, Paul's admiration of the Bulls guard is special to say the least.

The Thunder would wind up being victorious on Tuesday improving to 36-22 on the season with the 124-122 win. On the other hand, Chicago has lost nine of its last 10 and slip to 20-39 on the season. Paul would score 19 points and dish out nine assists for Oklahoma City.

As for White, Tuesday's performance marked the third straight 30-point game for the former UNC Tarheel as the 20-year-old rookie is unquestionably playing the best basketball of his career as of late.

To make matters more impressive, White has had these performances while coming off the bench for Chicago behind Zach LaVine and Ryan Aricidiacono.

Despite his impressive performances lately, White's rookie season has been inconsistent as a whole. The 6-foot-4 guard is averaging 11.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game but has shot just 38 percent from the floor and 34.7 percent from deep.
