New Chicago Bulls rookie point guard Coby White had a fantastic on-camera reaction to North Carolina teammate Cameron Johnson getting selected by the Phoenix Suns with the No. 11 pick. The world stopped for a moment for White after he was selected with the seventh pick, and he couldn't believe Johnson was picked so soon after him (h/t For The Win):

“He went what? Cam drafted 11th? (claps) Wow. Woww. Wowww bro. That's crazy. That's so love, bro. ‘Cause if y'all know Cam, you don't know how hard Cam worked. There was a lot of people that doubted him. That's crazy bro. Wow, that's so crazy.

“I'm so happy for him. You don't understand how happy I am for Cam, 'cause he proved it night in and night out that he deserves to be in the conversation for a lottery pick. He shot the ball like anyone I've never seen before in my life or played with. I'm so ex … wow bro! I'm getting chills up here.”

Cameron Johnson was previously projected to go in the early part of the second round or perhaps at the end of the first, though his stock started rapidly trending up after getting through various workouts and interviews with several teams.

Teams like the Philadelphia 76ers and Golden State Warriors highly coveted him with their low 20s respective picks, and there was some thought that he could be snatched off the board in the early 20s. Yet Phoenix became the first team to reach well above what most executives thought possible, drafting him 11th overall after trading their sixth overall pick to the Minnesota Timberwolves earlier that night.

Cameron Johnson, a senior who transferred to play at North Carolina after playing at Pittsburgh his first two years, shot a blistering 45.7% from deep in his last collegiate season, earning the label of the best pure shooter in this NBA Draft.
