Chicago Bulls center Cristiano Felicio is out 4-6 weeks with a broken wrist, per head coach Jim Boylen.

Felicio broke his wrist falling in practice on Monday at the Advocate Center.

Felicio has yet to play this season. He appeared in 60 games last season for the Bulls and averaged 4.0 points and 3.6 rebounds while shooting 53.1 percent from the field.

The Bulls gave Felicio a four-year, $32 million contract in the summer of 2017. He's making $8.2 million this season and will earn $7.5 million in 2020-21, the final year of his contract.

A native of Brazil, Felicio has career averages of 4.6 points and 4.1 rebounds in 212 games with Chicago. He's not the most popular player in The Windy City, as Bulls fans have wanted him off the team for years since he doesn't play and has a terrible contract.

The Bulls are 3-7 on the season. They host the New York Knicks on Tuesday. Chicago blew an 18-point lead to the Knicks at Madison Square Garden earlier in the season. New York only has two wins on the season. Tuesday is a game the Bulls must win at home.

Shooting guard Zach LaVine and power forward Lauri Markkanen haven't played up to their potential to begin the season. That will have to change if Chicago wants to turn its season around.
