To say that DeMar DeRozan's first season with the Chicago Bulls has been great sounds like an understatement. His move to the Windy City was heavily panned, but obviously, we all know who's laughing now.

Clue: It's DeRozan.

On Tuesday night, he once again led the Bulls to a victory over the Washington Wizards, 107-94. DeRozan scored 14 of his 32 points in the fourth quarter to help the Bulls improve 44-32 and firmly hold on to the no. 5 spot in the Eastern Conference.

With another 30-point explosion, DeRozan upped his total this season to 24, trailing only Michael Jordan for most 30-point games in a single campaign in Bulls history, according to StatMuse.

The All-Star veteran is coming off a 37-point performance in their win over the New York Knicks and clearly, he hasn't cooled off. The Bulls are trying to climb in the team standings to earn a homecourt edge in the first round of the NBA Playoffs and they need DeRozan to continue his high-scoring ways.

Jordan will always be rarefied air, but the fact that DeRozan is already trailing His Airness in an impressive feat in just his maiden stint with the Bulls truly speaks a lot. It's hard to understate how valuable his offseason acquisition was to the squad.

DeRozan and the Bulls will try to keep their momentum going on Thursday when they take on the Los Angeles Clippers.
