DeMar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls were once the toast of the NBA. With a revamped roster and an MVP-level regular season campaign for the 13-year NBA veteran, things were looking up for both the team and its seasoned star.

Then the Bulls went 7-15 in the final 22 games of the season. The slew of injuries and DeRozan falling back to earth after a supernova stretch in the middle of the year had caught up to Chicago.

The season that started off with so much promise fizzled out in the playoffs, in five games to the Milwaukee Bucks to be exact. On an individual level, it was not much better for DeMar DeRozan. His plus/minus during the series ended up at -65, which brought his career playoff plus/minus to -371 overall.

According to Statmuse, the Bulls star's cumulative -371 mark is the worst in NBA history by a wide margin. The next closest to him is Carmelo Anthony, who hasn't been known for his postseason prowess either, at nearly a hundred points lower at -288.

DeMar DeRozan was one of the feel good stories of the season and seemed to turn the corner during this late stage of his career, but the playoff monkey on his back still remains. With the Bulls getting healthier against next season with a year of chemistry under their belt together, hopefully the DeMar DeRozan can take another crack at breaking through.
