Chicago Bulls star DeMar DeRozan already has some brutal summer workouts planned for the offseason, involving some of his teammates.

DeRozan stays in Los Angeles during the offseason, which is where he grew up. It's no different this summer, and he plans on involving some of his Bulls teammates to try and get over that hump. DeRozan primarily pointed out rookie Patrick Williams as the guy that he will put through his workout gauntlet.

While he didn't specify what the workouts entail, waking up at 4 a.m. is perhaps the harshest part. DeRozan mentioned that he got these rigorous workout plans and ideas from Lakers icon Kobe Bryant. Having grown up in L.A., Bryant was one of DeRozan's biggest idols growing up. The Bulls were eliminated from the playoffs by the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night.

After the Bulls won Game 2, tying the series up, they were unable to win another game after that. It brought an end to a disappointing second-half of the season for DeRozan and the Bulls. In the first part of the season, the Bulls were on track to have home-court advantage in the first round. Additionally, DeRozan was playing like his Toronto Raptor days, becoming a legitimate MVP candidate for awhile.

Injuries decimated the team as the season went on and their record suffered as a result. Lonzo Ball hurt his knee in January and never returned to the floor. Patrick Williams missed a huge portion of the regular season before a return just in time for the playoffs. Alex Caruso and even star Zach LaVine missed games in the Bucks series.

While the Bulls have some work to do, they must get healthy to start. Next, it's about getting better. It seems that will begin with some brutal offseason workouts with DeMar DeRozan down in L.A.
