The Chicago Bulls made the playoffs for the first time in 2017 this season, but unfortunately suffered a first-round exit at the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks. They were poor in the second half of the campaign, but nonetheless, the Bulls certainly took a step in the right direction after several years of disappointment.

DeMar DeRozan, who was the headliner in Chicago's busy offseason last summer, made a promise to the Bulls fans as they look to make a deeper postseason run in next year:

DeRozan was brilliant for the Bulls in his first season, averaging 27.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.9 assists. Zach LaVine also served as the perfect co-star, putting up nearly 25 points per night as well. While Chicago did struggle to win games against contending teams, injuries certainly played a part in their woes. Lonzo Ball missed a ton of time due to a knee injury, while Alex Caruso was also on the shelf more often than not.
