Dwyane Wade is now headed out of Windy City after reaching a buyout agreement with the Chicago Bulls. Despite his lone season with his hometown team, however, the 12-time All-Star is still thankful to the club for making his lifelong dream a reality.
Wade revealed he has no gripe with the Bulls organization, and even said he understands their decision to go into full rebuild mode despite making it to the postseason last year, per K.C. Johnson of Chicago Tribune.
Wade tells Tribune: "It was a dream for me to play in Chicago. We made playoffs. But org decided to go in new direction. I respect that."

The 35-year-old added that had the Bulls upset the Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs last season, he could still be living the dream until now and wearing the Chi-Town uniform heading into training camp.

Dwyane Wade left the Miami Heat last year and opted to move to Chicago, a City who welcomed its son with open arms. The Bulls also showed the love to Wade back then, offering him a two-year contract worth $47 million.
It has been a drama-filled year for Wade after a summer which saw him pick up his second-year option to play again in Chicago. Though, after the Bulls traded Jimmy Butler, it was clear Wade no longer had a place in the rebuilding franchise.
Nonetheless, it's undoubtedly great to see Wade show his appreciation to the team and shower them with the same love they gave him throughout the year.
