It has been a complete struggle out of the gate to this season for the Chicago Bulls, holding a league-worst 3-14 record through the first 17 games.

This all came to a head on Friday night in a disappointing 143-94 loss to the defending champion Golden State Warriors. It also put them all alone in an exclusive category that no team wants to be a part of in any manner.

The Bulls have allowed 11 opponents this season to score more than 100 points against them with all, but one, of those such games resulting in a loss. This has pushed them to 23rd in the league with 107.3 points per game allowed while opponents are shooting 46.8 percent from the field, which is seventh-worst in the league.

Much of these struggles had come to be expected with Chicago going into full rebuild mode this season with the departure of Jimmy Butler, Dwyane Wade, and Rajon Rondo over the summer. On top of that, their best talent on the team in Zach LaVine has yet to play a single game as he's still recovering from a torn ACL that he suffered back in February.

Until the Bulls make headway with their current young core or add some veteran pieces to the puzzle, these types of defensive woes will remain for the rest of this season.
