Chicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine told local reporters after practice on Wednesday that head coach Jim Boylen added some offensive wrinkles featuring him and small forward Otto Porter Jr.

The Bulls acquired Porter Jr. from the Washington Wizards at the trade deadline in exchange for Jabari Parker and Bobby Portis. The swingman has played in four games with Chicago and is averaging 22.5 points.

The Bulls' new “Big Three” is Zach LaVine, Otto Porter Jr. and Lauri Markkanen. These are the three players the organization wants to build around for the next decade.

Porter Jr. has really impressed in his first four games with the Bulls. He's shooting 62.1 percent from the field and 57.9 percent from beyond the arc. In a perfect world, Chicago would love it if LaVine, Porter Jr. and Markkanen all averaged at least 20 points per game for an entire season.

LaVine is putting up 23.0 points per game this year, while Markkanen is at 18.5. Chicago is going to finish this season with one of the worst records in the league, so the coaching staff might as well focus on implementing new plays into the playbook which feature LaVine and Porter Jr. and help the two scorers score more efficiently.

The Bulls open up the second half of the season on Friday against the Orlando Magic.
