The Chicago Bulls are 2-5 on the season, and head coach Jim Boylen isn't happy about it.

After practice on Monday, Boylen said the Bulls players “need to take more responsibility for their preparedness.” This comes after a 108-95 loss to an Indiana Pacers team missing Victor Oladipo, Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis:

The Bulls have wins over the Memphis Grizzlies and Detroit Pistons. Their five losses have come to the Charlotte Hornets, Toronto Raptors, New York Knicks, Cleveland Cavaliers and Pacers. The Bulls blew an 18-point lead to the Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

Chicago is averaging 105.0 points per game, which ranks 22nd in the NBA. The Bulls are giving up 110.3 points, 17th in the league. Boylen's crew isn't getting it done on either side of the ball right now, and the Bulls coach wants his guys to take accountability for their poor play and get it together soon before the season spirals out of control.

One of the reasons executive VP John Paxson and GM Gar Forman gave Boylen an extension is because they like Boylen's old-school mindset and the toughness he shows with his players. Before the season started, the Bulls were picked to be a dark-horse playoff team in the Eastern Conference. So far, though, Chicago looks like a lottery team once again.

The Bulls will have to be locked in from start to finish on Tuesday if they don't want to get blown out. LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers are coming into town on a five-game winning streak.
