The Chicago Bulls continue to be one of the most exciting teams in the NBA to watch after Derrick Jones Jr. threw down a monster slam in their win against the Denver Nuggets on Monday night.

Lonzo Ball found Jones cutting to the basket and made the half-court pass that led to an and-one finish from Derrick Jones. The Bulls have been playing some great basketball as of late and were able to come away with a tough victory on Monday 109-97 against the Nuggets without DeMar DeRozan. Chicago has gotten contributions from everybody on their team in the early part of the season as they sit in second place of the Eastern Conference at 16-8 on the season.

They look like a team who might be able to make a push deep into the Eastern Conference playoffs. It's going to be tough for them to get by the Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets, but it certainly looks like they might have the talent to do so right now.

If DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine keep playing at this type of level, the Bulls are not going to be a team that anybody wants to face come playoff time. Many people doubted the duo before the season started but they showed those doubters that they are one of the best duos in the NBA.

Chicago will take on a tough Cleveland Cavaliers team on Wednesday and look to improve to 17-8 on the season.
