Michael Jordan is not only the greatest player of all time but he also happens to be one of the toughest competitors in the history of the game. As it turns out, however, the Chicago Bulls legend has gone soft in retirement. MJ's own daughter, Jasmine, recently revealed one aspect of her father that most of us might not be aware of.

According to Jasmine, the once unmovable Bulls icon has had a complete change of heart now that he's enjoying life post-NBA — at least when it comes to his grandchildren:

“Michael Jordan, the grandpa, is soft,” Jasmine said in a video feature for Togethxr (h/t Meredith Cash of Insider). “My son definitely has my dad wrapped around his finger.

“He loves being a grandfather, and my son is his first grandchild.”

This actually does not come as a surprise at all. As they say, having your own children is a treat. However, to have the privilege of taking care of your own grandchildren is unlike any sort of joy one can ever experience. As it turns out, this is absolutely true for the GOAT himself.

It looks like Michael Jordan's soft side is exclusive for his grandkids, though. A testament to this fact is how willfully he presented himself in the Netflix/ESPN mega-hit docuseries The Last Dance. The show was a smashing success and while most viewers had nothing but praise for the documentary, there have been some who have heavily criticized MJ himself for his portrayal in the show. I guess some things just never change.
