Maybe Chicago Bulls forward Nikola Mirotic should moonlight as a psychic.

Before making his return to action Friday after suffering a concussion and facial fracture as a result of a punch to the face from teammate Bobby Portis, Mirotic predicted that when he did return, the Bulls would win, per Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times.

“We’re going to win this first game I come back in,’’ the fourth-year forward said Thursday before making his regular-season debut against the Hornets on Friday. “We’re going to start winning more games. We have to. I’m not going to say how many games we’ll win, but things are going to change.’’

And they actually did. The Bulls beat the Charlotte Hornets 119-112 on Friday, despite Dwight Howard going off for 25 points and 20 rebounds.

The Bulls have been abysmal this year. Even with Friday's win, they're still 4-20, which is the worst record in the entire NBA.

But now that Mirotic and Portis have made up, maybe the Bulls can gain some momentum. Mirotic is a good shooter that helps the team's spacing, something they desperately need.

There's no telling where the Bulls go from here. Friday's win could've been more emotional than anything.

But if it's a sign of things to come, maybe the Bulls can finally get out of the funk they've been in all season.
