The Chicago Bulls logged a key victory against the Boston Celtics on Monday night, but as it turns out, some of the best highlights of the evening came outside the game. Bulls big man Nikola Vucevic shared a couple of endearing moments with a young fan battling cancer both before and after the win.

For starters, Vooch autographed the kid's sign moments prior to tipoff. The 6-foot-11 center even went out of his way to take a selfie with the fan (h/t Bulls Talk on Twitter):

Vucevic is a big man with a big heart and the kid clearly left quite an impression on him. After the game, he approached the young fan again to give him his autographed game-worn jersey:

We can't make out Vucevic's message on the jersey, but we're pretty sure he had some words of encouragement for the young man who has a tough road ahead of him.

Vooch was winning both on and off the court on Monday, as he helped the Bulls to a 102-96 win over Boston. With Zach LaVine out due to the league's health and safety protocols, it was Vucevic who had to carry the load for his team against a feisty Celtics side. The 30-year-old did just that by finishing with a game-high 29 points on 13-of-23 shooting, to go along with nine rebounds, two assists, two steals, a block, and three treys.

That's now back-to-back wins for the Bulls who continue to battle it out for a coveted playoff spot in the East.
