The Los Angeles Lakers hosted the Chicago Bulls in a game that featured a matchup between twin brothers Brook and Robin Lopez. The home team ended the night with a ‘W' thanks to a valiant second half effort. After the game, Chicago's center talked about going toe-to-toe with his twin, per ClutchPoints' Ryan Ward.

Although Robin, who scored 14 points and grabbed three rebounds, had a better game than Brook, who only mustered four points and nine rebounds, the latter got the last laugh with a Lakers victory.

In an article written on Tuesday night by Bill Oram of the Orange County Register, Robin also talked about growing up in the Los Angeles area and his relationship with Brook.

“The Lakers, for us they were the biggest basketball team in the world,” Robin said. “That’s our definition of the NBA. That’s what comes to mind in our head, you know?”

After Brook spent his first nine seasons in the NBA as a member of the Brooklyn Nets organization, Robin says that his brother is thrilled to now be on the Lakers.

“I know he’s definitely enamored with that aspect of it,” Robin said. “I don’t think it will ever fade with him.”

Robin also added that Brook's adjustment to a new environment wasn't something to worry about for him.

“It’s a lot of things,” Robin said. “It’s a completely different organization, coaching staff. But I mean he’s always dealt with that well.”

Tuesday's loss to the Lakers really stings for this young Bulls squad, considering Chicago led by as many as 19 points in the third quarter. Robin Lopez and the Bulls will continue their West Coast road trip on Wednesday night when they travel to take on the Utah Jazz at Vivint Smart Home Arena.
