There is an ongoing debate on who is the GOAT of all sports GOATS between Michael Jordan and Tom Brady. Some say the Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB has already surpassed the Chicago Bulls legend after he won his seventh Super Bowl ring, but Stephen A. Smith is not one of them.

The veteran broadcaster and ESPN sports commentator argued that while Brady is undoubtedly the greatest NFL quarterback of all-time, he's still no match to Jordan who was both a complete basketball player and an accomplished athlete–with his unblemished 6-0 record in the NBA Finals.

While Stephen A. acknowledged Brady as a true elite QB with an amazing throwing arm, the fact of the matter is he can't play any other role unlike Jordan who was both a great scorer and defender during his stint with the Bulls.

“Last time I checked, he's been to 10 Super Bowls, he's lost three. This is Tom Brady, as great as he is, as phenomenal as he is and clearly the GOAT of quarterbacks.  When we talk about the GOAT in terms of all sports, I would remind you Michael Jeffrey Jordan, the greatest basketball player to have ever lived, no. 1 on Mount Rushmore. [He's] a six-time champion, a six-time NBA Finals MVP. Unblemished in championship competition. Has never lost a championship series. Never even allowed it to get to Game 7–ever!” Stephen A. argued on First Take.

“When you bring up Tom Brady and what he has done… The flipside is that he has three blemishes in championship competition. He lost to the Giants twice, the Philadelphia Eagles once. By the way, it was a backup quarterback that beat him in the Super Bowl.”

While Stephen A. Smith made some great points about the Bulls legend, it's actually hard and unfair to compare players on different sports. Tom Brady has dominated the NFL in his own way, and there is no doubt making it to 10 Super Bowls is no easy feat–let alone winning it in just one try every year.

Not to mention that there are a slew of other athletes like Serena Williams, Tiger Woods, Roger Federer, Floyd Mayweather among many others who have dominated and accomplished a lot in their respective sports.
