Chicago Bulls combo guard Tomas Satoransky says he's “really looking forward” to playing with small forward Otto Porter Jr. again.

Satoransky and Porter were teammates on the Wizards for the past few years. Washington traded Porter to the Bulls last season.

Satoransky and Porter are reuniting in Chicago after the guard signed a three-year, $30 million deal with the Bulls this summer. The two are close on and off the court.

The Bulls struggled even more than Washington did last year, but they don’t project to be as low in the standings this season. For one, they’ll have Porter, who they traded for in February, for a full year. He and Satoransky think about the game the same way, one reason why they grew close in D.C.

“He was excited about it. … (I’m) really looking forward to playing with him,” Satoransky said. “Not only do I hang out with him outside the court, but I think we have good chemistry on the court, as well.”

Otto Porter Jr. played in 15 games for the Bulls last season. He averaged 17.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists while shooting 48.3 percent from the field and 48.8 percent from beyond the arc in Chicago.

Tomas Satoransky averaged 8.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists last season for the Wizards while shooting 48.5 percent overall, 39.5 percent from the 3-point line and 81.9 percent from the charity stripe.

Porter and Satoransky will try and help the Bulls make the playoffs next season for the first time since 2017.
