Trash talking is a way of life in the NBA and Wendell Carter Jr. is learning the ins and outs in his first year with the Chicago Bulls. The rookie thinks the best trash talker on his team is Kris Dunn according to Tzvi Twersky of Slam Magazine.

“Kris Dunn [laughs]. He’s not even mean, he’s just funny in the way he says things. He’s definitely the best.”

Kris Dunn and Wendell Carter Jr. are part of the young corps that Fred Hoiberg and the Bulls are looking to develop. The Bulls are a rebuilding squad, but they're hoping the young talent can turn the team's fortunes around in the coming years.

Lauri Markkanen is another talented young big man with a unique skill set. He shoots the ball really well. He could become a star in Chicago. Zach LaVine is a veteran in the league, but the 23-year-old is still a developing player. The Bulls invested heavily in LaVine over the summer (four years, $78 million) and he's rewarding the team's faith in him. LaVine is averaging just under 30 points per game and he's doing it efficiently.

The future is bright in Chicago. They don't look like a playoff team this year, but they can enter the conversation as soon as next year. For now, Chicago won't be able to talk much trash to opposing teams. Even still, Wendell Carter Jr. can learn a lot from Kris Dunn while their young team improves. They shouldn't have to wait much longer before they can start making some noise.
