Since fully recovering from an ACL injury he suffered and returning to action last month, Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine is proving that he is better than ever. He has been performing at a very high level and giving his team a lot of hope that he can help them speed up their rebuilding process.

Now, a new development has been reported as the 22-year-old UCLA product is no longer placed on a minutes restriction and could be cleared to play in back-to-back sets soon. However, team executive John Paxson also said that they will still opt to take a smart approach on him in their next few outings in order to not risk him getting hurt again, according to K.C Johnson of the Chicago Tribune.

LaVine made his debut for the Bulls this season back in January 13 and has since played in 14 games for them. He is enjoying a solid year with averages of 16.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.1 steals in only 25.4 minutes per game. More importantly, he has shown that he can be a cornerstone for the franchise in the years to come and that he could take on the role of being their go-to-guy especially in late game situations.

The development on LaVine is definitely good news for him and the Chicago faithful. Increased playing time usually means higher production which may take his career to the next level. Despite their current 20-37 win-loss slate, the future is bright for the Bulls as they have LaVine, Kris Dunn and Lauri Markkanen, who will all be integral parts of the team moving forward.

If they can build more chemistry on and off the court, not only will they have a strong bond, but it will also help their cause further with better performances and a having a chance to bring back the team's lost glory sooner than later.
