On Saturday night, Zach LaVine endured arguably the most humiliating moment in his NBA career, as his Chicago Bulls were absolutely embarrassed by the Boston Celtics, 133-77.

Nope, there's no typo there. The lowly Bulls just set the record for the biggest defeat in franchise history after losing by a mind-boggling margin of 56 points.

Following the blowout of blowouts, LaVine had a few things to say about being benched throughout the most part of the contest.

“We put a lot of hard work into this,” he said, via Tom Webber of Sporting News. “I get up, compete every day. I think regardless of whatever the score is, I want to go out there and compete, but obviously we didn't get a chance to do that. I felt embarrassed. I wish I was out there competing.”

Bulls head coach Jim Boylen subbed out all five of his starters twice on the evening for poor play, and it obviously got his message across. Nonetheless, it did nothing to impede the onslaught of the Celtics.

LaVine played a season-low 19 minutes in this one, scoring only 11 points (on 4-of-6 from the field, 0-of-1 from deep, and 3-of-3 from the charity stripe), along with three rebounds, two assists, and two turnovers.

LaVine and co. will definitely look to put this disgraceful performance behind them at the soonest possible time. Their next chance to bounce back will be on Monday when they host the Sacramento Kings.
