Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine reminded everyone that he's a two-time Slam Dunk champion during Sunday's game against the Detroit Pistons. LaVine got right to work and shocked everybody with another highlight-reel play in the first quarter.

LaVine is a rare breed and showed to everybody that he still has hops with this filthy slam. After the year he's had, including his inclusion in the All-Star Game for the Eastern Conference, it's nice to see him making plays like this. LaVine and the Bulls seem all but locked in as an outsider in the Eastern Conference playoff picture with the regular season drawing to an end.

However, LaVine has enjoyed a career season. He's averaging a career-high 27.2 points per game on 50.3 percent from the field and 41 percent from beyond the arc.

While LaVine didn't compete in the Slam Dunk contest this past year, who can forget his sensational performances from the past?

Six years later and LaVine is still making eye-opening plays. After coming over from the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2017, his future with the Bulls is in question amid their failure to once again make the playoffs in the East, barring some unforeseen circumstances.

Chicago traded for Nikola Vucevic and might be pushing their chips in to persuade LaVine to stay in The Windy City for the long term. Nonetheless, it's always fun to watch LaVine do things like this.
