Shooting guard Zach LaVine was crystal clear when it comes to how opponents view the Chicago Bulls on their schedule. And it wasn't fun to admit it.

“We’re getting blown out every game,” said Zach LaVine, according to K.C. Johnson of The Chicago Tribune. “People are licking their chops, looking at us on the schedule, marking this game off. It’s not like it’s going to stop. We have to do something.”

The Bulls are fresh off a 30-point loss to the Denver Nuggets and have now gone winless over their five-game West Coast trip, one forward Bobby Portis noted would test their mettle as players.

While they managed to keep affairs within single digits in recent losses to the Utah Jazz and the Los Angeles Lakers, they were torched by 37 points by the Golden State Warriors and even suffered a 28-point defeat to the Orlando Magic during this losing skid.

A total of 19 of the Bulls' 35 losses have been by double digits, giving them the second-worst point differential in the league of minus-10.5 points per game.

Chicago is mired in the worst active skid in the NBA and the Bulls have now lost 12 straight games against Denver — making this a matter of pride and effort.

“I don’t know how many loose balls they got versus us. I thought they beat us on that,” said forward Lauri Markkanen, who led the Bulls in scoring with 27 points. “That tells a lot about effort. It’s all of us. We have to play tougher.”

The Bulls have a long way to go to be a productive team, and it certainly doesn't seem they're anywhere close to finding that when the all-around effort is questionable in a nightly basis.
