It looks like Chicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine is feeling better.

LaVine, who has missed the previous two games with a patellar tendon strain in his right knee, will play on Friday against the Los Angeles Clippers at Staples Center.

LaVine is averaging 23.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game this season for the Bulls in 60 games.

The high-flyer, who signed a four-year, $78 million deal with Chicago last summer, is shooting 46.8 percent from the field, 36.8 percent from beyond the arc and 83.3 percent from the free-throw line.

LaVine leads the Bulls in scoring.

Chicago is 19-50 on the season. They are going to finish with one of the worst records in the NBA. However, that's not going to stop LaVine from playing the rest of the way if he's healthy. The 24-year-old said multiple times this week he wants to play despite the Bulls' season being basically over.

LaVine last played on March 8 against the Detroit Pistons. He finished with 24 points, six rebounds and two assists while shooting 9-of-18 from the field and 1-of-3 from beyond the arc.

The Bulls enter Friday on a three-game losing streak. They lost to the Clippers back in January by five points. LaVine scored 29 points in that contest.
