Safe to say Zach LaVine is ready for some mischief and madness this coming NBA season. The Chicago Bulls guard may be playing from halfway around the world, but his Twitter machine works just the same to hear about all the moves his team has pulled off.

The Bulls All-Star just put up a single emoji in reaction to the news.

Chicago started off with a sign-and-trade to pry away Lonzo Ball from the New Orleans Pelicans. Ball has long been rumored to be the object of the Bulls' fancy ever since last season and works as the perfect playmaking complement to LaVine's offense-heavy game. Ball's size and length also make him the perfect defensive partner to deploy against opposing star guards.

But the DeRozan signing definitely caught many Bulls fans off guard. The San Antonio Spurs star was speculated to be eyeing a move back home to Los Angeles. But the money was probably too much to pass up, as he would have needed to take a significant pay-cut to make the move to California. Instead he opted for a stint in the Windy City, for a cool $85 million fully guaranteed.

The Bulls had been floundering for years despite having several cracks at lottery talent and a bona fide star in Zach LaVine. Now with their latest additions in tow, plus another year of chemistry-building with All-Star Nikola Vucevic, the future is bright.
