The Chicago Bulls won't be firing head coach Jim Boylen anytime soon if they even plan on letting him go in the first place.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Bulls are in no rush deciding on Boylen's future with the team.

“Arturas Karnisovas and Marc Eversley are spending time evaluating and getting to know Jim Boylen, and remain in no rush deciding on the coach's future. They're able to watch him in the gym with players, talk philosophy and learn about his staff.

“Because several potential head-coaching candidates among the assistants' poll are coaching in the bubble for the foreseeable future, there's even less rush to open up a search process now.”

Bulls fans wanted new VP Arturas Karnisovas to fire Boylen the second he took the job. However, it appears Karnisovas and new Chicago general manager Marc Eversley want to do their proper due diligence on Boylen first.

Since taking over for Fred Hoiberg on December 3, 2018, Boylen has gone 39-84 with the Bulls. Chicago hasn't made the playoffs since trading Jimmy Butler to the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2017.

The Bulls weren't invited to Orlando, Florida for the NBA restart. Most NBA pundits believe Chicago would be making a big mistake by keeping Boylen around. Only time will tell what happens with the Bulls franchise.
