The Chicago Bulls have failed to see relevant success and march into the postseason picture in recent years. Their previous draft hauls have also been slow in translating wins for the Windy City franchise. With the fourth overall pick, the Bulls have another chance to turn their team's fate around. Team general manager Marc Eversley and the rest of the front office may already have a few options up on their radar.

Via The Ringer:

“League sources say the Bulls are likely targeting a lead playmaker in the draft, which is why last week’s mock had them taking Killian Hayes. But LaMelo is the most talented passer in this class and is a tempting pick, although one that would immediately raise questions about Zach LaVine and Coby White’s futures in Chicago.”

With the types of players mentioned, it is indicative that the Bulls are leaning towards drafting up-and-coming guards. French swingman Killian Hayes is a combo guard with great size and length who can shoot off the dribble. He last saw action with Ratiopharm Ulm of the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) in Germany where he averaged norms of 12.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 6.2 assists through 10 games played.

Another player that they are setting their sights on is the intriguiging LaMelo Ball who previously made an appearance with the Illawarra Hawks in the National Basketball League (NBL) where he tallied averages of 17 points, 7.4 rebounds and 6.8 assists per game, while shooting 37.7 percent from the field through 12 games. Also included in consideration for the team's shortlist is Iowa State Cyclones point guard Tyrese Haliburton.

With the options that they have in mind, it seems like the team's front office will be looking to slot their draftee to play alongside two-time Slam Dunk champion Zach LaVine and prolific sophomore Coby White. Regardless of the player that they opt to select come November 18, it is certain that he will serve as a pivotal piece in the Bulls' rebuilding cause moving forward.
