The Chicago Bulls are bound to make some front-office moves after what is looking like a disastrous 2019-20 season, but none will result in a win for the longstanding #FireGarPax campaign. According to K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago, the Bulls are likely to add another voice to the front office with fresh eyes and views, but John Paxson's job as the executive vice president of basketball operations is likely to remain untouched.

Paxson is held in high esteem by chairman Jerry Reinsdorf and is one of the few people in his circle of trust.

Gar Forman's title as general manager has become more of a sticker and less of an actual job within the franchise, now moved almost exclusively to scouting. His eye for talent is more valued than his ability to make moves, hence why he still remains as a member of Bulls brass.

Bulls head coach Jim Boylen signed an extension this past summer after the team let Fred Hoiberg go in December. Ownership and management trust him as the leader of the locker room, and his salary makes him one of the league’s lowest-paid coaches, which is convenient for a team hoping to complete a rebuild.

Barring the Bulls hiring a strong voice who can soon take over the front office, it's likely that the circle of ineptitude will continue, as it has been a downslope since the franchise decided trading Jimmy Butler was the route to the future.

So far, Butler helped both of his former teams to playoff stints, and now he's leading the Miami Heat to third place in the East. The Bulls are 63-142 (30.7 winning percentage) through two and a half seasons without the star player they drafted and developed. That includes a 14-27 record this season after they declared the playoffs as a legitimate goal.
