It appears Chicago Bulls shooting guard Justin Holiday and center Robin Lopez are available in trade talks for the right price.

That's the latest from K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, who is well-connected with the organization and has covered the team for over 20 years. The Bulls are still in rebuild mode, and Holiday and Lopez are two veterans whose playing time figures to decrease as the season moves along since Chicago wants to play and develop its younger guys more.

Holiday and Robin Lopez are available all day, every day for the right asset. So a trade wouldn’t be a result of the season going south.

Robin Lopez hasn't even played the last four games. The Bulls drafted big man Wendell Carter Jr. from Duke with the seventh overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft and have inserted him into the starting lineup. Furthermore, Cristiano Felicio has jumped over Lopez in the rotation. The veteran is obviously frustrated by his demotion, but even he knows what the Bulls are trying to do in The Windy City.

Justin Holiday has appeared in all seven games this season and is averaging 11.1 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists while shooting 40.9 percent from the floor, 37.0 percent from beyond the arc and 87.5 percent from the free-throw line. You would have to assume that a contender could use a player like Holiday to come off the bench and provide shooting.
