The Chicago Bulls and Jabari Parker's camp are working together to find a trade which will get Parker off the Bulls now that he's not in the playing rotation anymore, but there appears to be one hurdle.

According to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, the teams who are interested in acquiring Jabari Parker and his $20 million per season salary want the Bulls to take on some bad contracts. Chicago reportedly doesn't want to do that.

The Bulls and Parker’s representative are working to find a trade scenario that works for both parties. As of now, league sources indicated that teams interested in Parker are asking the Bulls to take on bad, long-term contracts. As of now, that’s a non-starter for the Bulls, who structured Parker’s deal the way they did for a reason.

Jabari Parker signed a two-year, $40 million deal with his hometown Bulls in July. The second year of Parker's deal is a team option. The Chicago native has played in 29 games this season and is averaging 15.2 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game while shooting 45.5 percent from the field, 29.3 percent from beyond the arc and 72.4 percent from the free-throw line.

Parker hasn't played in a game since Dec. 13 and those were garbage time minutes. The former No. 2 overall pick has suffered two ACL tears in his young NBA career.
