Zach LaVine's future with the Chicago Bulls has been the talk of the town of late. The All-Star shooting guard is set to hit free agency this summer and he's now being linked to a sensational move to Hollywood to join LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. Apparently, all this could be part of a conniving master plan to improve LaVine's market value.

An anonymous source recently dropped a shocking truth bomb about how Klutch Sports, the agency that currently represents the Bulls star, could be behind all of this:

“A lot of this is coming from the agents, where they want to not only get him paid but raise his profile at the same time,” one league source told Sean Deveney of Heavy.com. “That is their M.O. The more drama in the process, the better. No one was talking about Zach. Now everyone is. Mission accomplished.”

These are some pretty incriminating allegations and while technically speaking, it may not be illegal, there have to be some ethics concerns here.

At the end of the day, regardless of how the end goal may have been achieved, what cannot be denied is that all these whispers have worked to benefit LaVine. At this point, he's likely to sign a bigger deal — be it with the Bulls, the Lakers, or any other team that might be interested.
