Chicago Bulls guard Coby White continues to make an early case for the Rookie of the Year award as he broke two records on Tuesday.

The 19-year-old freshman set the Bulls franchise record for most 3-pointers in a quarter, drilling seven treys in the fourth period against the New York Knicks at the United Center.

His seven makes from downtown was also the most by a rookie in a single quarter.

White has actually been struggling from deep in his rookie season, shooting just 21.2 percent from long-range entering the Knicks match. He missed 23 of his 26 total attempts in November.

The Bulls improved their record to 4-7 after handing the Knicks 120-108 loss. White led the way with a team-high 27 points and three assists, as his former North Carolina Tar Heels coach Roy Williams watched from the stands.
