A game-breaking Destiny 2 glitch that allows players to generate several Orbs of Power. As a result, PvP has now become a mess to even play in. However, Bungie has come up with their own definition of a “solution”.

Bungie is already aware of the min/max situation, however, it’s now more concerning now that it’s trending. YouTube user JB3 recently leaked out a video on how to trigger the min/max glitch. Basically, players just need to have the game on Window Mode then hold the minimize window button for 5 seconds. After breaking the hold, the Destiny 2 glitch will spawn a bunch of Orbs of Power every after super abilities and super kills.

Bungie is now throwing out punishments to players who are exploiting the Destiny 2 glitch. While this may seem to be a positive thing, unfortunately, even innocent players are reaping the actions of these hooligans. This exploit is better known as the “Min/Max Glitch” wherein players can replicate a bunch of orbs.

The developers labeled this exploit as  “an incredibly deep and difficult to fix bug”. A patch for the bug is supposedly arriving in December. For now, Bungie’s solution for players who abuse the exploit is to slap them with warnings. However, the way they detect players using the exploit also impacts those who don’t. In-game security can now sense the drop of frames a player has from triggering the min/max glitch. Sad to say, innocent players who simply “atl+tab” can also trigger the security into thinking you’re using the exploit. Using “atl+tab” has the same frame drops as utilizing the min/max exploit. Hopefully, Bungie comes up with the patch sooner because PvP in Destiny 2 is becoming a mess.
