Call of Duty: Mobile explores new places in its third competitive season. The latest update to COD: M launches later this week and features a Japanese theme. Players get to explore all the new content in the Tokyo Escape season 3 update. Activision didn't officially announce the new weapons heading to the mobile game but fans believe that Modern Warfare's PP19 Bizon and the Renetti could be joining the mobile game's armory.

CALL OF DUTY: MOBILE ESCAPE TO TOKYO

The introduction of a new season for COD: M hopefully addresses most of the community's lingering concerns with the game. Recently, many players complained about the game's incessant problems with weapon balancing. Activision set out to test some of the different weapon changes in a recent public test build. The test remained inconclusive but players can expect some improvements to the game down the line.

Tokyo Escape offers a lot of brand new fun things to Call of Duty: Mobile. The update expands beyond mere weapon balances and new guns. A new exclusive multiplayer map called Coastal joins the playable maps on the mobile game. A lot of the existing maps in the game hail from past games in the franchise but the new Coastal map is its first new addition. Players get to explore a wide-open map full of wide roads and open areas. Coastal tests players' ability to engage in long-range firefights and sniping battles.

Players look forward to more content coming to Call of Duty: Mobile for season 3. Naturally, Activision won't reveal all its cards for the next season of COD: M in the week leading up to the official release of season 3. The next season is expected to kick off officially on April 16, 2021. Players should expect an update to be made available for the game prior to the official release of season 3.
