July 15 marks the release of Call of Duty‘s Season 4 Reloaded Patch. It will include various content drops for both COD: Black Ops Cold War and COD: Warzone.

“Maur Der Toten” Zombie Map

This is the next chapter in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War‘s Dark Aether story. The official website says it is “an epic battle against the undead in a divided city.”

“Mauer Der Toten” translates to “Wall of the Dead”. The map is set in East Berlin, in the year 1985. It will be the third round-based Zombies map for Black Ops Cold War. It will also introduce a new CRBR-S Wonder Weapon – an upgradeable energy-based pistol.

A robot soldier named Klaus will also be available to assist players. Additionally, the new “Mule Kick” perk will allow players to carry a third weapon.

Paintball comes to Multiplayer

Alongside the return of COD‘s classic Capture the Flag mode, a remastered version of Black Ops 2‘s Rush will also be included in the game. Rush is a small 6v6 map with a paintball theme. Treyarch also teased an incoming “Paintball Moshpit” mode for later in the season. This mode will change the impact sounds and visual effects to reflect the paintball theme.

Two new weapons will also be added to multiplayer – the OTs 9 submachine gun and the Mace melee weapon. Lastly, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will run a Free Access Period from July 22 to 29.

Payload and Blueprint Blitz: Warzone's new mode and event

Payload is a new objective-based game mode for Warzone. It is inspired by traditional Call of Duty game modes such as Call of Duty: WWII‘s War Mode. Two teams of 20 players each will face-off in a race that will see them attack and defend vehicles carrying satellite parts.

A new Blueprint Blitz event will also come with the Season 4 Reloaded update. In this event, Contraband Contracts will automatically spawn after a player completes two regular contracts. They will then be awarded cash and a permanent weapon blueprint if they're able to extract it.
