Call of Duty Warzone Season 3 is just around the corner as Activision Blizzard has been preparing a monstrous new season filled with new cosmetic rewards, new elements of gameplay so much more. There will be a completely new map updated for Vanguard along with a new movement system that will change out people compete in Warzone's Battle Royale mode, so returning players will have something special to look forward to.
Call of Duty Warzone Season 3 Release Date: May 25th, 2022
With the new season, players should expect more weapons, maps, modes, and additional weapon balancing and bug fixes to the game. At the start of the season, there will be a few new weapons to unlock, including the H4 Blixen submachine gun which players can only get as a final reward at the end of their battle passes.
Players can also look forward to unlocking Kim Tae Young as Season 3's final operator of Task Force Harpy, who is only available for purchase. Tae Young is described as being a masked fighter, whose favorite weapon is the upcoming H4 Blixen submachine gun, so make sure to complete the battle pass to reunite her with her prized arms.
While Godzilla and King Kong were introduced for the Caldera map in Operation Monarch, along with changes to the map in order to accommodate the giant beasts, the Operation Monarch event will be ending around the start of the Season 3 update, so many players should expect to see these two monsters to be removed from the game. There will also be a new Underground Transit System added to Caldera, allowing players to move between several different areas via minecart.
Lastly, for Vanguard, Season 3 will introduce a new map called Sphere, which is described as a small multiplayer map that takes place within a weapons lab.
