Cam Newton made headlines of late for some rather controversial comments about women. The former NFL MVP's words riled up a handful of people, including Kayla Nicole, the girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Cam Newton appeared on Million Dollaz Worth of Game and spoke up about what he's learned about women over the years. There's no way to sugarcoat that the Panthers icon dropped some rather sexist takes on what a woman should be like.

“I knew what a woman was, not a bad b–ch. … A woman for me is handling your own, but knowing how to cater to a man's needs. I think a lot of times you get that aesthetic of ‘I'm a boss b–ch.' No, baby. But you can't cook. You don't know when to be quiet. You don't know how to allow a man to lead,” said Cam Newton.

Kayla Nicole was just one of several voices to call out Cam Newton on social media. The Chiefs star's GF called Newton a mama's boy trying to find someone for the sole purpose to take care of him rather than finding a someone he respects as a partner.

“The obsession with women being able to cook is truly comical,” she said on Cam Newton's comments. “Cause it’s like if your palate is so superior date a Michelin star chef then bozo. Pretty sure the average woman is capable of making edible food. How do you think she’s survived thus far?”

Safe to say Cam Newton isn't endearing himself to the female NFL fans out there.
