Resident Evil April Showcase will be coming next month, Capcom announced. The live stream will inform players of what Capcom has in store in their Resident Evil 25th Anniversary celebration.

RESIDENT EVIL APRIL SHOWCASE, RE:VERSE OPEN BETA ANNOUNCED

Capcom announced that they have a lot of exciting news coming up next month. With Resident Evil Village coming out this May, it's almost impossible for Capcom not to mention that game in their April Showcase. However, apart from that, we have no idea what else is coming for this live stream. They might make official announcements on their rumored Netflix animated series. Perhaps they have more news about their Resident Evil live-action adaptation film. We don't even know yet when this April Showcase will show up, as Capcom stopped short of giving us an exact date.

Meanwhile, Capcom also announced that their multiplayer game in-development, Re:Verse, will soon enter Open Beta. The new Open beta will run from April 7 to April 11. Players can join in on the horrific fun on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and on Steam. Fans can pre-load the game as early as April 5. Be sure to have your Capcom ID ready by then, as it is required to play in the Open Beta.

Re:Verse will be a competitive multiplayer title. Players will get the chance to play as various Resident Evil characters, both friends and foes. When you die, you get reborn as a bioweapon, and can even play as classic monsters from the series. If you score high enough, you get the chance to play as Nemesis and Jack Baker.

While the Re:Verse Open Beta will be free to download and to play, players will have to shell out cash to enjoy the game once it fully releases. Re:Verse comes bundled with all Resident Evil Village purchases. Currently, the game has no other ways to purchase it without also getting Resident Evil Village.
