The Arizona Cardinals are adding to an already rebuilt pass rush. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Red Birds will add edge rusher Cassius Marsh to their rotation.

The Seattle Seahawks released Marsh on Saturday as a cap casualty from the trade to acquire Jadeveon Clowney from the Houston Texans.

In 2018, with the San Francisco 49ers, Marsh, 27, had a career year. He tallied 5.5 sacks, 38 combined tackles, 14 quarterback hits, and seven tackles for loss while playing in 16 games (three starts). His best work tends to be as a situational pass-rusher; he's also a willing special teamer.

For his six-year career, Marsh has 11.5 sacks, 105 combined tackles, 28 quarterback hits, 17 tackles for loss, and four forced fumbles to his name.

The NFC West seems to have an affinity for Marsh. The former UCLA Bruin was drafted by the Seahawks in 2014. After a season in New England in 2017, he came back to the West to play for the 49ers. One season later, the Seahawks came calling again, and now, he's on the Cardinals. At this rate, the Los Angeles Rams must be his next destination.

He also likes to have fun, as he infamously talked about the Patriots in May 2018, per the San Francisco Chronicle:

“They don’t have fun there,” Marsh said of the Patriots. “There’s nothing fun about it. There’s nothing happy about it. I didn’t enjoy any of my time there, you know what I’m saying? It made me, for the first time in my life, think about not playing football because I hated it that much.”

Let's hope he has some fun in the desert.
